Summer 2011-
I just returned from the most amazing trip with some of the most amazing people I have ever worked with! Led by Zacciah Blackburn , the 12 of us did ceremony for 7 days with 3 mountains, 3 Lakes and a beautiful spring as well as ancient chambers made of rock. We sang and spoke and listened to the rocks, the Earth, The waters, the wind,(65mph on Mt Washington!) the fire, and celestial beings. We played, we laughed and cried together and I am still integrating and hope to bring some of my messages and stories to the next gig at Sticks and Stones! See you all there! Please come early to chat and do walk the labyrinth!

Spring 2011-
Planning my garden is always a time of joy for me! The smell of the Earth, the blossoms in the breeze... muddy walks in the woods to all of my favorite spaces and trees. The lake is absolutely gorgeous and Q and I had the opportunity to paddle out in our canoe last week while I recovered from a nasty virus. I feel so much gratitude for where we live! So much nature around us and blissful peace, even with a new house being constructed next door. We look forward to our new neighbors who seem to be very nice and quite like minded to us which is always an added bonus.
So, thinking about all of this garden and new neighbors has me thinking and reading about what to plant and what weeds to keep and what to move or discard. It turns out I have inadvertently planted some plants that are not native and could be considered invasive! It got me pondering about boundaries which has become quite a favorite topic in my circle of friends. I remember when Rick and I first moved here to the lake and how folks treated us and our property as if we didn't belong here. It took a lot of reaching out  and speaking up to get folks to understand who we are. We all got to work (Marlon too) cleaning up the park and beach when the Spring clean up came around so that we could meet the neighbors and work alongside them. I think what really broke the ice was our garden by our front door. We made it so welcoming people started regularly pausing near our front yard to have a look. It was such a great reminder to me that community goes both ways and when you are the new kid on the block, you may have to go the extra mile to earn the trust that brings the blossoms of new friendship. It's a bit like gardening, all that work and those beautiful flowers and veggies to share and nourish you and your friends! Wow, I have to get going and dig a little in the back yard! talk soon! much love and joy to all! CQ

Winter 2011-
Hope you all are enjoying the snow and the beauty of this restful season! The trees speak to me in the dreamtime of how they are preparing for the Spring, and how I too must rest and prepare. I am writing a lot and playing in the studio with Rick. It's delightful to have him home working there with me. I am working on several new projects including a sound healing workshop for the Spring. Please peruse the site and let us know what you feel about the new format. We are pretty happy with getting all of the new files up and hope to have even more multimedia up soon and a page where you can purchase our CDs, Books and Cards. We lok forward to your feedback and seeing you at an event sometime soon!
May you be peaceful, filled with all that delights you and know that you are loved deeply and truly,
Cynthia
